Smallville: Future Heroes

This tournament is based on Smallville, the popular television show on theCW.

Before he was Superman, Clark Kent grew up in Smallville, Kansas. Also living in Smallville is his future nemesis, Lex Luthor. But they aren't the only future heroes (or villains) to pass through……


*Premium Membership is not required, but Freemium players must keep 2 spots open for this tournament.*
*800 points minimum is required at beginning of play.*


Each player will choose one of the following characters to fight for:

Hero Division
Clark Kent (Superman)
Oliver Queen (Green Arrow)
Arthur "AC" Curry (Aquaman)
Bart Allen (Impulse)
Victor Stone (Cyborg)
Kara Kent (Supergirl)

Villain Division
Lex Luthor
Brainiac (Kryptonian super-computer)
Mxyzptlk (Alien with mind control powers)
Zod (Evil Kryptonian General)
Bizarro (Clone of Clark)
Phantom Zoners (Escaped Kryptonian criminals)

2 people may sign up for each character; therefore, there will be a total of 24 players in this tournament.


The rounds will be as follows:

Round 1:
The two people representing each character will battle in a best-of-3 series to determine who will fight for their hero or villain in the next round.
All games in Round 1 will be 1v1, and played on USA with the settings Standard, Sequential, Flat Rate Cards, Chained Forts, Sunny.
The player with the most wins will advance to the next round.


Round 2:
Each player will play one game against each of the other players in their division (for a total of 5 games).
All games in Round 2 will be 1v1, and played on Scotland with the same settings as previously stated.
The player with the most wins from each division will advance to the finals. (If necessary, a tie will be broken by playing one game on Canada with the same settings as before.)


Round 3: The Finals
The remaining Hero and Villain will face off in a best-of-5 series on Classic (again, with the same settings as in other rounds).
The winner will be the ultimate power in Smallville.
