Eurasia

Well i just spent a while drawing up these borders

Obviously this is a very rough draft.

Obviously with a map this large i'm going to need to combine some countries ( a lot).

I've already reformed Yugoslavia, Austria-Hungry and Czechoslovakia, but even those territories are still too small. I might combine the later two, but I wouldn't know what to call such a broad territory.. Austrohungaczechoslovakiland :{

I was also considering combining Norway Sweden and Denmark to just make Scandanavia..

Also should probably divide Russia up into atleast a couple parts.

Not sure yet if i'm gonna continue with this, but I like the idea of another huge map like this.

You might like to change United Kingdom to British Isles. Unless you fancy getting lynched by the Irish.

Yeah good call. I'm gonna have a lot of problems like that probably, I had to combine a lot of countries and give them my own names.

I think the purple area need some more contries... just 3 is a bit to few IMO

Somehow I can't read all of the names, it's pretty small.

The thing north of France should be called "Benelux" (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg), it's a common abbreviation for those.

And the thing north of Poland should be "Baltics".

And Spain should be named "Iberia" if you want to combine it with Portugal.

Yeah, like I said, size is gonna be a problem.

Thanks for the naming suggestions, the first two were desperately needed and i'm definitely going to put them in next time.

I was actually planning on calling spain Iberia though, I forgot to fix that though. So yeah, next time it'll be there to.

Well, we have already an Europe map, but not an Asia map (that Asia is a fake, the real name is Far East)... I would like much more a complete Asia map... and maybe it would help with that size problem...

Trrorist World? There would have to be Sudan in there too, specifically Al-Khartum (Khartoum in English)

What I could use is a name to combine Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgistan.... and no, I wont call it "Stan."

you coudl combine them all and jsut name them kyrgistan, or uzbekistan. Thats what hasbro did w/ Afganistan

I know this looks like a step down from the last one, but don't mind that. I got rid of all the graphics effects to work on the borders some more. Still a problem with size i'll work on later.

I'm considering it. Its a good idea, but I've wanted to make this full eurasia map for a while. Since its still in primitive stages right now I haven't completely commited to this yet, though.

perhaps you could pick up my idea for an Old world map, basically eurasia just with names and places form old world with rome.

I like the eurasia map Idea, but if you are doing something like asia.. you could use this that I drafted up and abandoned awhile ago.

Yeah, old world has much more appeal, this is kinda random... Old world would b awesome. (And if Mr. K doesn't do it u beta get cartographing sfhbballnut. :twisted:

Wow.... there's mor of Asia in the Far East map than I thought. It is only missing Arabia.
