how many games can a free member be playing at once?

can anybody tell me what programs can be used to create maps for cc? if there are any such programs can you also tell me where to find said programs....

Just Photoshop or GIMP will work well. If you can't find those then I don't think you should be making maps, and should perhaps go back to school for a bit...

Hehe, yeah. The GIMP (Found here: http://www.gimp.org/windows/) is a free Photoshop alternative, made for Windoz, originally created for GNU/Linux systems. However, through a recent Wine update, Photoshop does indeed work in a Linux environment.
Since Photoshop isn't free, you could also try Paint.NET, (Found here: http://www.getpaint.net/) which is another free alternative, if you don't like GIMP.
Making maps takes skill, so don't expect them to look awesome right away, unless you are pro.

I resent that statement. I don't even think the pro's expect them to look awesome right away.
