I completely agree.
Although I understand there are times people miss turns for their own fault, there have been plenty of times that I have been like "well I have a few hours left...so I'll take it later". Luckily I have never lost a turn (to my knowledge) because the server was down, but it doesn't seem like it would be too hard to "freeze" the games in progress while the server is down because it causes so many one sided games after a missed turn.
If the server has to randomly go down, that's one thing....but when it's scheduled it's definatly a problem that could be stopped.

Ok, would this work then ??? ..turn back the server clock when the server is rebooted after a site "meltdown" and make the neccesary adjustments. I realise this would mean that CC woud be down for another 5 mins or so and would create a little extra work for you, but in the long run I think it would create more harmony and less bitching all round
I think 3asefa's idea is great if we can find a way to make it work

I have wondered this myself, as so have lots of other people it seems. I have no idea if it could be done but it would be a great add on to the site if it could. As with all the other upgrades Lack has added in the last year and half i been here i am sure he will as in the past work toward making the changes if possible. This for sure would be a welcome addation.

EXELLENT BIG YAMA and also i think that most of us on this site are well educated and if lack needs help with this issue he can just add a new post and we will all be more than happy to help him find answers and look it up for him and his crew.
