Except for the fact that the message said North America.
ImageChildren, this is what happens to hockey players, druggies, and Hillary Clinton.

Rope. Tree. Hillary. Some assembly required.

Post questions and concerns if any.

It's almost always more than two days. This message is a bit... outdated.

There are still a few things that are being reworked I believe. Or atleast I said need to be addressed, a page or two back ago.

AndyDufresne wrote:I'd have to agree about the ships maybe being too much for everything going on in the map. Maybe removed the ships from that area. Perhaps you could take out the chest, and put one ship there.

Also, perhaps you should consider moving the title a little more to the top right so it doesn't feel scrunched either.

Thats the last thing you said.. and I dont think thats really necessary. lets quench this shit.

Visual appeal is a big part of the map. ;) If maritovw doesn't want to do it, that's fine. I'm still waiting on a response, since all such suggestions and advice must have a response. ;)

These are your last questions. Map looks good to me at the mo. This and Alexanders empire really looking forward to trying.

Ok, so the mapmaker has to either make suggested changes, or refute the reasoning behind them, or another poster can do it. That's my understanding of the rules here?

Here is my refutation of what seems to be the last remaining objections, coming from Andy.

The changes you request on ships and chest are cosmetic. They not only look fine to me currently, but add character to a great looking map. I'm afraid your suggested change will actually detract from that. I firmly vote against that suggested change.
The skull and crossbones and map name do have some room at the upper right corner to where they can be moved, but they do not interfere with the overall appearance of the map. I am fine with where they are currently. However, I can see where that might bother others. Enough to delay the map? I'm not so sure, especially if a cosmetic change like that could be made after it is live. (actually if that were to happen, I bet only 1 in 10 players would even notice the text had moved 1/4 inch.)

looks great. the last thing i would do is move THE CARRIBEAN SEA up as suggested before. it's too low.
