yeah, it's been around for a while, they even print publications in big cities. Someone I work with brought one back from NYC and there was an article about a 25 year old who scientists found half of his memory was video game related. The article was hilarious, referenced many old school and random games. Also since I am 25 and half of my memory is video game related, I related to the article haha

Yeah, they have Onion Newspaper box-thingies all over Chi-Town.

Yeah, I subscribed to both the video and radio podcast. I can't believe I didn't know about this before now! One of my friends *finally* brought it to my attention....
they started out as a humor magazine from University of Wisconsin.
i'm a long time fan. i don't read it much anymore, since the format got a bit tired, but i used to sit in front of my computer every thursday, hitting refresh to get the new issue the instant it was put online.
i don't know how they do things anymore. i haven't been a regular reader since the late nineties.
do they still do Jim Anchower op/eds? i loved those. and same with that gangsta from Accounts Receivin...
good stuff. i even bought their book, Our Dumb Century... i think they have a bunch now, but that was their first. there were some classic headlines in that one...
some from memory:
Scary Shark Face Painted on Fighter Plane to Turn the Tide in the Pacific.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT! MAN WALKS ON THE FUCKING MOON!
German Jews Concerned about Hitler's Kill All Jews Proposal.
that paper accomplished so much with satire. i should check back more often.
