Rebelman, perhaps you could have someone co-host the tournament or take it over all together? I know you are trying to really get this going but it appears it may be more than you can handle.
Either that or it should be abandoned while it is still in the first round.

If you read the Tourney handbook, it's the same punishment if it's abandoned in the first round or in the last round. The only time there's no penalty is if no games have been created.
I'm not too concerned about whether Rebelman gets punished or not, just thinking it would be easier on the players as half of us (or more) haven't played their first games yet.
