These must be very very back,because i fix these,and i can not belive that people dont see diference betwen background and Attack routes :shock:

i thinking that these colour blinded issue can be solve only in general discusion,because here it imposible to work with so little number of feedback.
I need more colour blind person to participiate in these issue,because i dont belive that Oaktown dont see diference betwen background and attack routes. These is mine point of view and i hope that oaktown not be angry on me.

I don't really understand why those lines can't be blended into the background like the rest of the image that we see there.

What?Do you see that small map its have so many units(terittories)and if you want to restrict and these map to,then again you create problems.Look Bonus legend,look army number box. Look mine signature,i hardly find place to put,and you want to tell me that no need for these extra 30px. You are very strange Ca,insted to help,you want to create problems.

-Qwerts your boarder grid thing takes up 30px
-BR53, 17, BR29 all have space to be shuffled along a little to make more legends room.
-Theres plenty of space for your signature in the bottom left corner after taking the 30 px down or even resizing your sig a little.

I think you should just try your best to make it all fit and if you are still having problems then try to change gimil's mind. Im backing gimil, he is a CA, and his word goes. If he says you dont need it, then you should at least try to do without it.

whoa, didn't mean to spark a debate!

If there were only one style of attack route on this map, I wouldn't have raised the issue. But there are three, plus a series of dotted lines. Having four different styles of lines PLUS a series of potentially confusing background lines which are not in play is, in my opinion, a gameplay issue. I look for anything that may impede understanding of how a map plays, and in my opinion the background image wasn't quite player-friendly enough.

Let me state for the record that I LOVE the background image. However, there are clearly roads between territories on the background image, and they were lined up well enough with the territories that it didn't look simply random. I think that if the background image was washed out more and maybe grunged up a bit it would be fine.

And yes, I am mildly red-green color-blind. I could tell the background lines from the play lines, but all it takes is that one player who thinks a background road is an attack route and I've not done my job here.

Now he ask from me to disband all things what give some military feel.
He want to erase Grid over map,then to moove troop in some other location,where is not supose to bee,and everybody know that i want to create map to be more acurate. In many topic,when i start map acuraty(Last in Caspian Sea,after LOne ROMAN EMPIRE)people dont care about acuraty of maps,only want to create inacurate map. I spend so many hours to find all relevant units and where is placed on these German Offensive,and now Gimil want from me to change these,and to start creating something whats wrong.
Now if you notice(i hope so)the background of these map is a these country-Belgium,Luxembourge and Germany,with towns and roads. So if British 53 division is a place to be Close to Namur(belgium town) and British 29 brigade to be in that place to.
Do you want to tell me that aim waste mine time in all these research,and that you not care what unit is fight in these offensive,and that you also not interesting where these units standing in battlefield?

well i only can try to more bright(let say 5%)Background. The diference betwen background,and attack route its quit big.

Also sometimes you just have to give up a little bit of accuracy and a little bit of what you want to make room for something else, your not the only one to fall victim to this. The whole world isnt against you just because some people disagree.

Gimil,i can agree with graphic,like i want to solve problem with background what i have with Oaktown,but to change unit place,these i will not want to do. Problem can be solve if you alove me these extra 30px,and i give you very good explanation, I realy dont want any conflict here. I realy dont understand,that you have option to help people giving hem extra 30px,to solve any problems with space, and now you just dont want to give me,and insted these you want to i erase many things,and to move some units in other places. These is cause problem, because i have valid reason why Unit must be in that place.

again, I love this legend. Nice use of space.

The differences in road colors need to be cleared up - and I don't mean the attack routes v. background image, though I'd still like to see the background image lightened up. This line especially needs a re-write:
German attack can annihilate but not conquer, Ally only can supply these unit

this is just a personal opinion, but this map doesn't have enough bait on the hook to reel me in. meaning, it doesn't interest me enough to take the time and energy necessary to decipher the game play. there is no back story, no explanation, no help and seems like its some insider map for people familiar with the ardennes offensive, which i suspect is few. I'd say this map will have little appeal outside of the foundry regulars, but you may be ok with that.
