Nice. Thats what I love about this tournaments, the stories.Hanul wrote:http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=1849396
My troops, wanting to show that they had trained after the last tournament defeat fought valiently. Their defense was flawless as they held against the enemy. And when it came to the offensive, they were second to none. I was at a slight disadvantage in the beginning, but my troops reversed what looked to be a lost battle.
MY win.

Won in 7 rounds. Hard fought game
My troops secured the amazon in the beginning move, but in a mistake on my part. The Loreto pass was left unguarded. Mustapha Mond immediately took advantage of the situation and struck, with a force of 10. Thankfully, my guerilla troops hit his supply lines to the point where his troops starved and he could only feed the 1 unit garrisons. Immediately, I pulled reserve troops from La Paz, Bogota, and Zingu and counter attacked, driving him back, this followed with another assault and another counter attack. But at least, we held. The Loreto pass was still undefended, mainly because troops were required else where. That was when Mond tried to pass through Loreto again, this time however, his force of 5 was defeated by a 1 unit garrison tha twas there just to hold the area. That effectively ended the game, as I had by then grabbed all of the Amazon and struck Mond out of the Andes and continued my push until his troosp were forced to surrender.

First there was a constant battle in Patagonia. Lots of soldiers died on the most Southern point of the continent. When I finally got a grip on Patagonia, my troops could recover from the battle. With a full combative army the green flood over South America was unstoppable for GRAPE APE.
The second win in round 6
, will this streak continue?

JvdH did it again. In round 5 this time. It was a good choice to settle in the somewhat warmer areas of North-america first. When the frozen armies of the enemy wanted to attack they couldn't break the borders. Quickly they were all wiped out of the arctic.
