Well, when Xtra broke loose and started this thread, everybody thought he was back, and many that didn't care for him in the past actually admitted that they missed his input in the forums.
Xtra was simply banned for calling someone a jock sniffing ball licker. Of course Wicked says she has other proof that he did much worse things in the forums, but she will not present it, and has stated that she does not ever have to present it.
My true feeling on the matter is that Xtra was really banned because of his belief in the 9/11 Truth Movement.

Many people flame outside of flame wars, much worse than what Xtra did. And to what extent was Xtra warned about racial slurs? My opinion is that Xtra does not deserve a permaban, as well as Norse and others. They should be given a chance to return to the forums on an annual basis, when their membership is up for renewal, they should be allowed to request being let back into the forums. The request could be accepted or denied. Xtra doesn't deserve a permaban despite your disagreements with him. I have disagreements with people in the forums, but I never want to see them permabanned. Permabanning is for the birds.

Yes, permabanning is stupid and ridiculous, especially for such minor offenses as flaming outside of flame wars. A person should be given the chance to request a review of his/her forum status at the time of membership renewal, if he or she would like forum privelages back.
