Global rank in player profile view

I think that it will be interesting to know the rank position of a player in his profile, next to his score.

Another interesting information could be express the best rank ever obtained by this player and his highest score.

What do you think about that?

More Individual User Stats, along with a a phpBB upgrade in forum software should cover most everything.

true but its not as if it would take much programing. It seems like something lack could do in 5 minutes. Not even long enough to disrupt someones turn.

I don't care about average whatever. Just the Player Rank, as it is posted in the "Scoreboard." I.e. the best player is #1, etc.

I think its an easy addition to the site.

Just a suggestion.

It would be nice to have your rank like 2403/7430 players on your profile page. You could check to see how you are moving up in the ranks easier.

Now you have to see what your points score is say 1288, then try to find your name on the scoreboard (find right page).

Yes, you can seach for a name, but it only shows their score and not their overall ranking like 2403/7430 players.

Also, for people who can't see it within a few pages... does 15679'th rank (random number) mean any more to you than 14365'th? I used to keep track of my rank, but then I found that the numbers were so large, it was meaningless for myself to keep track of. I see why the people in the top 250 would, though.

It would be nice to see a global ranking in the profile view. They only way I've found to see it is to manually search through the global high scores table.

I like this idea, though it is constantly changing, so maybe it would be hard to have it in the profile?

It shouldn't be that hard to link to the scoreboard, it depends how Lack handles the scoreboard. It might add lag to the site though as the number could potentially be changing every second, for every player. Perhaps update the position at the end of the day to reduce lag effects?
