I'd offer myself to be mentor at freestyle speed (lvl 3, I'd say) and mentoree at sequential of any kind. I'm pretty much a lvl 2- lvl 3 when it comes to seq., so any help is appreciated. Best would be someone who sucks at freestyle but is great at seq.

I am happy to mentor anyone in whichever settings they wish me to mentor them in. My best are 6 player seq esc, speed freestyle and 1v1's. I don't recommend asking for team game tips (I can teach the basics but there are much better mentors available for this) and i don't play any of the weird maps.

I only want to mentor 1 person atm, and i would prefer it if that person was under 1400.

can i drop my score to below 1400 so u can mentor me??

I've always been skeptical about giving advice (OK, maybe not, but offiicially I have been), but I figure I have played enough to pass something useful along. Add my name to the mentors list if you are so inclined, preferably as an escalating mentor (but I can get by in any kind of game :) )

I'm usually up for giving advice.

I might not have a high score myself, but I do well in longer games, especially flat rate/no card games, where I have plenty of time to decide moves.

I just lose most of my points due to real time freestyle games, I don't think on my feet so well -.-

But yeah, PM me if you want any advice on games. Normal type maps only, or feudal, I don't do the odd AoM, Conquerman and those types of maps. Doodle Earth is included, too small.

To follow the guidelines - I'd rate myself as between a 2 and 3. Probably closer to 2 atm though.

I do well with strategy on normal maps, with no cards/flat rate games with 4 or less people. I don't play escalating at all, so I don't really have much to say on them.

That's mainly my strengths - I can give advice on real time freestyle, but I don't know exactly how effective it would be.

I'm happy to help here too.

I guess I would be a level 3, and the main maps I would assist on are Classic, AOR:Magic, Fuedal, both seq. & freestyle. I could also offer general help for the other maps.

I am on daily as a rule (often twice a day), but I live in Australia, so the time zones may affect some players.

Can I go in as a mentoree level 3? I've played the board game plenty, and am not a crud player, but my win-rate here is terrible, especially considering I mostly play team games. :(

Geez, haven't looked at this thread in a while. I think it's safe to move me off the mentee list at this point, and I'd be willing to help newer players or lower ranks looking for advice--I'm probably a 2 as a mentor, although as my own rank goes up, I do get into more games with the upper ranks. Willing to help on any maps, although I've always gotten my ass kicked on Circus Maximus and (for some reason) British Isles, so you might not want to ask about those.

I can handle any type of cards (although I have little experience in no card games) or forts (best with unlimited, of course), standard, terminator, or team games, and sequential play only. If you ask me about freestyle, my advice will be, "Don't play freestyle."

So, yeah ... add me to the list, and prospective mentees can PM me--I'll probably forget to check the thread again for a few days.

At this point, where I am, I would easily be a 3, quite likely a 4, on the feudal map specifically, particularly doubles and 1v1's of varying types.

I also am specializing in the Classic, Sequential, Adjacent, No Cards, Foggy game, but I doubt that is played often p_o Probably rate myself a 3 here.

So, basically, ask me for advice on feudal. I'm up to helping any players, I win most of my feudal games, except against people I've shared my tactics with, in which case it just comes down to a bit of luck and who utilizes it best (Says something there ^^).

So yeah, you can update that. I'd still likely only place myself as a 2 on the rest of the maps, but I am still up to giving my opinion.

Level 3 for me. I'm an OK player, but I've been losing a ton of points recently, and I'm not really gaining them back. Need help especially on 3 player doodle earth/classic and 4 player classic standard, sequential, escalating, unlimited, no fog

Hi there, can you put me on the mentor list.
I rate myself as a 3 in my specialist world...
Which is mainly freestyle, classic, single risk.

Not really into the freaky boards or team games, there are loads better than me...

I will join, but i need someone really good to teach me as i am horrible at this game.

Just kidding. I will help people and I am a master at Magic. I would say 3.5 for most things and 4.1 for Magic. (win rate of 4 person magic against lieutenant or higher is above 50% and I won the officers magic tournament)

Also I can help teach people how to play team freestyle games.
