speed games and deadbeats
in speed games,i think there should be a 2 minute time limit for the first 4 rounds, also for the first 4 rounds anyone who misses a turn should not have his troops replenished for missing a turn, this deadbeat tactic is used and abused ,really slows down the game ,and also if they cannot make a move in 2 minutes during the first 4 rounds they should be kicked off the game, this will eliminate these deadbeat tactics and and will also provide a real speed game

No.
The longer answer is that I would miss my own first turn too much (especially if going first after creating the game). I would have to check to see if the game had started far too often.
I also find the first turn on a bigger map is by far the most important in terms of setting your stall out for the rest of the game - if anything I would like MORE time for the first turn
