When a player Deadbeats in a FoW doubles game, the calculated territory count doesn't realise the deadbeats armies have passed to their partner so gives incorrect numbers.

Yes - a good bug - I'll work in a fix.

Yeti, to help some of those who have trouble getting this started i have a solution. i know your first post is long as it is but maybe with some solid instructions that are in the SAME thread as the script people can get it down faster

Step One: Get Firefox, Click this link and download/install firefox

Step Two: Get Greasemonkey, Click this Link and click install to install the latest greasemonkey

Step Three: Make sure there is a monkey face, smiling or not (smiling means greasemonkey is on, frowning means off) on the bottom right of your browser. if you do not see this monkey then first restart your browser (close all windows and start it up again) if that doesnt do it then go back to step 2 (step 1 if you dun have firefox lol and continue thrrough the steps)

Step Four: Get AJAX BOB (oh boy!), Click this link and click on install in the upper right. once the box shows up wait for the timer to count down and once it does click install!

Step Five: Enjoy! Enter a game with greasemonkey on (you can toggle it on off by clicking on the monkey face) and revel in the stats your military intelligence gives you! if you do not see the stats then first, make sure greasemonkey is on (the monkey is smiling) then right click the monkey, click on "Manage User Scripts" and make sure that a script named "Conquer Club - BOB" is there, if it isnt then go back to Step 4 and proceed from there

I am having issues with the ASIA map. The program is only allowing me to click any of the buttons 1 time then it doesn't work anymore. I have to reload anytime I hit a button to get another button to work. By buttons I mean attack, fortification.

right click the monkey and make sure you only have one copy of bob installed... one of the more recent updates did not replace the old one.

I've also noticed that if you have a "Neutral is a deadbeat" game - then BOB dislikes it!

Suggestion for bob mod

Post by bazmac »

Love your script! It's added even more enjoyment to a great site!
I was wondering though, have you thought about a new message alert in the heads up display?

How do you define "New Message"?

I would hazard a guess that he's referring to the left bar's Personal (Inbox) message? Just a guess.

In which case - if a new message comes in - then the menu is unhidden...

But he mentioned in the HUD?

Which (again I assume) is where he would rather see the message waiting...not on the left but rather in the HUD...

You *probably* have 2 versions installed - please check and remove the older version...

Sorry for not defining that. I was meaning on game chat, sometimes during your turn a teammate may wish you to change your tactic or another player may ask for a truce. It's happened to me but I didn't notice till after I'd finished.

I was having this same issue as well. I only had one version of BOB installed. The only fix was removing BOB. I have added it back again but I have not tried to play a game with it yet.

It could be that you have a "Neutral is a deadbeat" game...

BOB dislikes these games - but they shouldn't happen - so It'd be silly coding a fix for it...

Here's a question, and it may have already been answered, or might not even be possible.

Is BOB something that could read the "My Games" page and when I have new turns put a fancy (5) next to My Games on the game menu? That way when I'm working on administrative stuff I can see my turns pile up to 5 or 6 before going over to check on them?

Just curious.

It is possible - however it would require a read of the Mygames page - and then a parse of the same page...

It may slow down the script... which is something I'm loath to do...

It would be good - if Lack could do this really!!

Or you could just a script which tells you how many turns you have every 5 minutes. It's around. It's pretty useful.

No - the Action form (the bit where you press buttons) is only available for games you are in...

I think there should be an action form though with a "Jump to next game" link in - but that's a Lack thing...

With the forum? I was just thinking about that. Well, over the past few days actually.
