Break away from europe, every string cut, every bridge burned. Refuse to pay any fee's that may be placed against us, on the grounds that the european treaty was signed on behalf of the UK and endorsed by self-serving pigs, and a cabinet of criminals.
Call all military personel back to the UK, to defend our own borders from the potential trouble the above may cause.
Halt immigration indefinitely, send illegals and the new wave of legal immigrants back to wherever they came, tighten border security.
Reduce taxes drastically for mid-earners, introduce a new tax system to higher-bracket foreign moguls/tycoons (currently tax-exempt).
Abandon the NHS, except for minors, elderly and long-term disabled.
Add 3 extra public bank-holidays.
Add incentives for tradesmen/industry to take on appretinces/trainees.
Build prisons to house an additional capacity of 20K
Introduce the death penalty for the most heinous of offences
Decrease drastically corporation tax, and even more so for small businesses.
Decrease VAT to 15%.
Absorb "the city"(currently tax-exempt) into being a part of the UK once more, and introduse taxes upon all businesses here in the same way as for the rest of the UK.
Improve educational standards dramatically....no more "Teh nUU laybor, we Iz teh kool kids wiv yoof kulcher" Bullshit. Back to proper academia.
Strangely, I agree with a lot of this. Except for that whole abandoning Europe and kicking out legal immigrants. (I have no problem with closing the borders for the most part.)
But....isn't the NHS basically only absorbing money because of kids, elderly and disabled people? I know nothing about the healthsystem there, but to me it seems working people don't actually cost anything. (In that they pay off that by paying insurance.)

Bad idea there chap, as in the first instance of occupation (as you probably know) we ended up using far more resource here than taking back out...it was a bad idea all round, not least nowadays having to talk to them every time I need to check my bank balance or repair my internet connection.

Hmmm...maybe there is an element of fact in this, yes. But I feel that the amount of unneccassary funding that the NHS recieves does not justify the job that it does, by a long shot. It's budget is half of the entire PAYE revenue that this country collects....that is a gigantic amount of money. I have worked in hospitals before, installing and maintaining certain radiological machinery, and on every occasion, I see wastage. And can they keep the hospitals clean and free of viruses that actually go on to kill a disproportionate number of the patients that went in for a routine check up? no. They have magnanamously failed.
It is time to put this little utopian idea to bed.

In 1948, Europe's largest employer was the Red Army. The second largest was the NHS.

re-conquering india and slicing off a bit of the profits from their financials is probably going to be a winner move in the next two decades. If only so you could run cheap IT its probably worht taking them back over.
Good point. And think of the free Onion Bahajis.

I wonder if the red army killed as many as the NHS have though?
given the same amount of time i think you could probably chalk up a few more kills to a military than a national healthcare service, assuming your not going to count every single death against them.
2. stop giving money to poorer countries and think about ourselves 1st before we help another country
3. foreigners can live and work in the country unless if they know english and have a skill and have integrated into being british
4. focus more on the army giving them the right equiptment
5. only engage in war if were getting a benefit out of it
6. convert to green energy and stop relying on countries like russia and the middle east
7. make more neuclear weapons
8 make more airbases in foreign countries
9. legalise prostitution
10. make everyone british again, why? because even though i dont want to be british, when my country becomes a sence of national pride only then can we be unified and be british
11. keep multi-culturalism to a minimum! multi-culturalism only creates problems and arguments

I must admit I see wastage too in our hospitals. But I think that has more to do with the bureacracy introduced into the system than the concept itself. The people who buy the equipment and everything aren't actually using their own money, and even then they succeed in holding back an amount which coincedentally falls into their pocket and lets them buy a villa on an island.
The suppliers of the equipment know they're supplying to the government so they charge more which the hospital just pays. Perfectly good equipment is replaced because we could get a discount on the new version. They buy modern art to cheer up the place which amounts to 1000€ for a little green sack shaped somewhat like a midget. Of which they buy 50. Funding always seems to lack for basic supplies while the board of directors just went on a week long trip to the bahamas.
Something needs to be done about the corruption. We've let managers and bureaucrats run our country for too long.

I have never actually supported what the government does. I merely hold close to socialist ideals, not how the politicians interpret them. I look at a problem and think of a reasonable way to solve it, instead of trying to fit it into a model I believe in.
I never vote, for example, because all of the parties consist of retards giving each other jobs and basically just circle-jerking for 4 years, after which they make all kinds of stupid promises to get re-elected. There has only ever been one guy I'd vote for, and he got shot through the head because he wasn't opposed to fur.
You just confuse me for a lefty because you're stupid and extremely right-wing.

1) Invest 40% of our energy budget in wind energy. There's absolutely no reason not to, and every reason why we have to.
2) Show Ted Kennedy how to get home. I love the guy, he's done great work, but he needs a nap. I honestly don't know if he still remembers where he lives.
2a) I would commit to military intervention only for strict humanitarian reasons. The fact that people want to attack us is at least strongly derived from intervention for geopolitical purposes, so if we take our troops out, hopefully some of the anger will subside. Maybe this one's too late / quixotic.
