NIU Shooting

7 dead including killer.

NIU is located 1-2 hours from Chicago. I live in Chicago, and my cousin goes there which is scary for me because his real house is like 5 minute drive from me so he's a real close cousin of mine.

I'm glad he didn't take Geology.

Anyway 2:53 or so this white male in all black with a ski mask on came out behind the professor who was up on the stage teaching 150 students said nothing and suddenly shot the professor in the shoulder with a shotgun and started shooting at students.

He killed 4 women and 2 guy and injured 17 others.

8 have already been dismissed from the hospital from being shot others are in very critical condition.

The killer was a former NIU student of Sociology, and eventually graduated at University of Illinois with stellar grades. Former teachers say he was a very interactive and excelled student with outstanding grades. They say he was very nice and they have no idea why he would do this.

He lived in Florida at this time and maybe went to long without his medication some say.

My heart goes out to all the victoms and families.

I live right out of Chicago in Oak Park ( like 2 blocks from Chicago ).
