Anyone tried out putting yourself on your own ignore list? I would do it but as I won't be playing a new game for a while, there's little point at the moment...

to add to twill's post:

I think it would be a good idea to require after every game to give feedback for every player they played with that game - something simple that would take no time like:

Did [username] play fair? (choose one)

[]yes, definately
[]yes, as far as I could tell
[]I'm not sure
[]somewhat questionable
[]I think not
[]definately not
[]no comment

and then an optional place to post a comment about the person.

The reason for this is that people would otherwise only be likely to comment about a person if they think the person is cheating, and another person's testimony that the person in question plays fair would remain unseen, if it was not required (because if I thought this player was fair then I would not realize that they were being questioned and therefore see know reason to state the he/she played fair unless I happened by mistake to see them as the topic of a discussion).

The statistics about each person would be viewable on their profile.

Also, the person who creates a game should have the option to boot a player that joins the game based before the game starts if it is seen that this player has a very bad reputation.

Also, when a person creates a game, they should have the option of imposing a holding rule and whether it should be 1 hr, 2 hrs, or 3, etc, and it would also be great if the creator could choose the length of each round, because sometimes I can't get on my computer every day and I lose turns.

In conclusion, thank you Lack for everything your amazing and these are all just suggestions I understand completely that you have your hands full, and I do not take for granted the service to me that you have provided with this site. Thanks!

That has been The best upgrade since ive started playing in January....... I just love the fact that now when i see a person like hotgun playing in an open game ive created i can simply wait that holding M!@#@! F!@#@!# out instead of getting all pissed off. Thanks for letting me vent as I thank u, that was and Awsome idea, IT REALLY WAS !!!!!!!!!!
P.S. I dont think that the time needs to be increased I dont think i could handle the stess of waiting out other players that long!!!!! lololol

I think the one hour should be plenty ... there is no reason (outside of technical difficulties) for a turn to take over an hour ...
I have a question ... what happens if one person burns all the time for a round before you even have a chance to take a turn?
Maybe this is obvious to people who have played before but I am in my first 4 games now ... I am in one 6 player game where we have been waiting for one guy to take his turn for about 19-20 hours or so ... I dont have a problem with that ... I just dont want my turn skipped because he spent all the time in the round!

since you are in a sequential game each player gets 24 hours to make their turn. So don't worry your turn will come.

Join new games. :-)
I was a major back when 1600 was major. Now that I'm back, I get to easily win a bunch of games to get my rank. Thank the 'tards here who suck at this game.

Not that this is related to the thread you posted in at all, but he would lose any armies he didn't deploy if his turn ends.
