We are working to resolve the problem, you will see minor tweaks to the forum which should mostly not effect you too much, but more major works to add power to the database machine are taking longer and are what, in the long run, will dramatically increase capacity on the server.
We are also reducing our active recruiting and advertising programs to slow growth and make sure our current users aren't effected by further increasing load from new users.
In the mean time, try to avoid playing at peak hours (usually mid-afternoon and early evening in North America) to help us spread the load until we can get you the machine power to support all your addictions
