I was just thinking what in conquerclub put up add from other places to try and lower the price of premium. That way I think that more people would want to buy it. Idk if there is something against it but what do you guys think

I 100% support ads for freemiums only. It would give lack some extra income and possibly reduce the cost of premium....it would also being another incentive for people to buy premium so they could stop looking at the ads. A double whammy!

adverts for freemiums only. i don't want to see banners and ads for whatever.. hmmmm, that is interesting, what do you think the products advertised on here would be? what demo would they go after? that is kind of funny to think about!! pocket protectors? acne products? video games? "how to get a chick" instructional books? pop tarts?! seriously, thinking about it makes me giggle..-0

Lack hasn't been keen on Ads at all...he likes a clean and fresh website. But as the site grows and grows, it is probably something that will eventually have to be looked into.

Oh come on. Ads just take away from the sites. I really don't like having all these ads take up space on the layout.

From the many conversations I've had with Lack, there's hardly any chance he will put ads on the site.

We all hate ads, it just takes away from what we have here. This site is about this site and we like keeping it feeling less commercial.

He knows exactly how much he stands to make from advertising but he has repeatedly turned it down to keep the feel the way it is. Life's just more relaxing without ads.

plus, Firefox has lots of add-blocking stuff. Even if there were adds on CC, a lot of people on firefox wouldn't be able to see them anyway :wink:

well there should be ads... but you should be able to have an option (free) to take away adds in your profile.

The people who click on ads are not likely to be computer savy.

And the people who don't like them can just disable them in thier profile.
