it is probably ok to play team games together, but avoid playing singles together if at all possible.

And you may want to consider posting a warning in the Cheating & Abuse forums, that seems to have helped others.

you can still play singles games with each other, just remember to post in game chat if you make an alliance.

The short answer is yes. Our Multi Hunters are pretty good at distinguishing roommates & family members from people with multiple accounts. However, some members prefer playing only in team games with people from the same computer to avoid accusations of cheating.

Luxurious is my wife and we play team games all the time. We have also played some singles games with friends from the site and never had any trouble.

there needs to be a thread that people can post in if more than one person is using the same computer. I have been looking for such a thread. We have a foreign exchange student living with me and I showed him CQ and he wanted to play but I was worried that I might get banned. But at least I know he can play now.

You won't have any trouble if you are playing in doubles games. You are totally safe doing that.

Thanks for posting this thread, My wife AngelStorm and I have just started with the site and were both wondering the same thing. I think for the most part we too will stick to team games.

Avoid singles or 1v1 games, but team games are fine, don't be on opposite teams though

Don't do it. From past experiences I have learned you shouldn't. Even if you post a warning that you are related and playing together in cheating and abuse reports, the mods will still ban you. Twice. And even when they know you are innocent they will still stop you from playing with each other.

I share with amberzak, as we are at uni together and share a place. We share computers, but often I will make my moves at uni. Slightly concerned that we will be banned. But I want to play games with her. We will not make alliences, as we are very compeitive and always want to beat each other.

You should be fine, as long as it's clear that you're two different people. Announcing it in game chat can be a good idea as well, though not necessary.

Luxurious and I play 1 vs 1, teams and standard games all the time. If you play fair you have nothing to worry about.
