rules for participation
1) everyone is welcome.
2) non-premium members must have at least 1 free slot in order to join this tournament.
3) if you are assigned a game after the tournament has started, you should respond to the PM within 48 hours, in case you do not respond, a reserve will stand in for the rest of this tournament. if you can't play for some reason and you do PM within the 48 hours, we will find a solution.
4) each round i will personally PM all teams (whether they won or lost) and keep them informed, i will also post the information they need on joining the next game, if any.
5) post a message in this forum (or PM me) and make sure you include the following information:
*nickname
*reserve y/n (interested in playing reserve if all slots are filled, yes or no?) (note that if you fill 'yes' on this one, you can also be selected as a player unless you don't want to, it just shows INTEREST in being a reserve if all other slots are filled)
*player y/n (interested in joining the tournament as a player, yes or no?)
*teammate: <nickname of teammate>
*team leader y/n (i will PM most of the game information to the teamleader, the teamleaders are supposed to pass the information to their team mate)

first round
First off, the poules (with 3 teams each) will fight each other in a 6 player doubles game (2 vs 2 vs 2)
the winners of those games (24 winning teams) will then fight each other (randomly selected opponents) untill only 8 teams are left
2nd round
so the 2nd round there will be 8 games with 6 players (3 teams) each to decide who will go to the quarter finals.
final rounds
the 8 teams that made it to the quarter finals will fight against randomly selected winners in a challenging 2 vs 2 game, this will go on untill 1 team is left (quarterfinals, semi-finals, final round)
in case of stalemates
in case a game last over 40 turns and seems to be endless, a tie-breaker game with the following settings will be held between the 'stalemates':
