I hope you get to finish this one some day Guiscard. You made a lot of progress and dedicated a lot of time to this map and it's pretty good.

Love this map, cant wait to play it.
sorry if this has already been suggested because i have only skim read the posts, but have you thought about having a bonus for holding Rome itself? or are you trying to keep it original?

Idea is good, but I strongly disagree with the map. Firstly, why is it that the continent Byzantium doesn't include the city Byzantium itself? That just makes no sense. Secondly, for defending five points you only get a bonus of three? Rework the continent bonuses. Thirdly, you have oversimplified the Roman empire to the point where two wildly different regions, in some cases even climate, are lumped together into one huge territory, diversify and add more. Fourthly, I think you need to make the continents smaller and add more. Fifthly, the map's region colours look like you poured various paints into a laundry machine and soaked a towel in it.
