Isn't the Yin/Yan symbol round? It looks egg-shaped or is that just a distortion because your arms are raised?

What exactly is going on in your tattoo? I see a Zombie exo-skeleton fighting some kind of winged anaconda. I assume the Taijitu betwixt symbolizes that these are some kind of opposing forces?

(I'm so confused.)

Ive actually never had it misunderstood before. Its a dragon fighting a tiger.

Its concept art of the martial art Shaolin Kung Fu.

The dragon represents the harder and faster Black side of the art and the tiger represents the softer, presice and spiritual side of the art.

Shaolin has been a passion of mine for years hence me having it put on my back.

Not all dragons are bad-ass. Puff the Magic Dragon was a bit of a fairy, if you ask me.

In Chinese mythology there are varying grades of status for creatures.
In the celestial status the dragon and the tiger are equal. As is the turtle i might add.

Mines on my back.

Taking a photo of it is the only way of seeing it properly.

Well they had it wrong.

Tiger = overgrown cat
Dragon = massive firebreathing flying lizard.

So - dragon flies around out of the tiger's reach and frazzles it. Then he cooks the turtle, because all the turtle can really ever do is blink and retreat into his shell. The dragon doesn't even need to fly. It probably toys with the turtle a bit, flips it on its back, sticks a talon in its shell holes. Then cooks it. I cannot see any other scenario playing out here, I really can't.

D**n you! You made me laugh while my boss was right in front of me.

Anyway, despite the trouble you just got me in i am going to explain.

In chinese mythology dragons cant breath fire. Or not celestial dragons.

Also the dragon is slender. The tiger is often much larger than a real tiger and turtle has many magical properties.

Maybe if the dragon were very, very small, the tiger would stand a chance. But I still think the turtle is out. But same size has to go to the dragon, methinks.
