The small map looks nearly perfect now, the names are easily read. Good job there!

As for the XML, I would suggest revising
  • Kwun Tong
  • Shek Pik
  • Tai Wai
  • Lead Mine Pass
  • Perhaps Tai Lam Chung, Sheung Shui

Other than those, I think this map is nearly Quenched.

The Final Forge period has concluded for the Hong Kong Map. All objections have had their time. The Foundry and I hereby brand this map with the Foundry Brand. Let it be known that this map is now ready for live play (barring any Lack vetoes).

Conquer Club, enjoy!

OK I found the error and fixed it. Tai Mo Shan was incorrectly part of Plover Cove instead of New Territories. Sorry about that! Lantau seemed to be okay.

I've sent the corrected xml file to Lack and Andy so hopefully one of them can update the file soon.

No you're not, Steve. There is a country which you haven't taken. I've held the continent in another game and got the bonus fine.
Taking an enemy on the battlefield is like a hawk taking a bird. Though it enters into the midst of a thousand of them, it pays no attention to any bird other than the one it has first marked.

This is a great map. I love the Lead Mine Pass, Tai Mo Shan and Dabu triangle thing, control that and you control the game. I love how every continent is holdable, even the "no mans land" Kowloon.

i find some naming prpoblem there... usually Dabu should be Taipo... Chek Chue should be Stanley...and victoria is the name of that region in early british hong kong stage, and you use HKSAR logo...Chai Wan better use back Eastern....and some other naming problem...don't know careless or have some reason behind to make it like this...
