Every type of game requires skill if you want to gain points from it. If there was no skill involved you wouldn't be able to increase your score.

I love the thrill of speed escalating freestyle though I've only played a few. And I can tell you I've been beaten repeatedly by players who are simply more skilled with that type.

Not true. It's obvious that you have only read peoples opinions in the forums and have never played a freestyle speed game. The tactics in freestyle speed games are much harder to carry out than in any other game type i have played at cc.

You see, someone may get to "Field Marshall" but not actually be Field Marshall because they're conquer.

So, what happens if that's the case?

well, along with what red said, there are a few other tactics. wait till your opponent's turn has ended. immediately attack vital spots for your opponent so they can't deploy. cheap stuff like that

ok... speed escalating freestyle games are easily one of the most intense style of risk on this site.... so much skill, probability, risk, reward, speed, wit involved in those type of games. Deffinately one of the most exciting styles... unfortunately some people dont like them because they dont know how to win on them..... its not like those joke assin doodle earth games, which is pretty much CC's form of gambling.....

anyway, i voted warsteiner, but it wasnt easy =p
