We should start a game where only 3 vs 3 attacks are made. Just pile all of your other troops on an out of the way territory and lets see how many times the attacker wins. Regardless of the odds, it should happen.
My gut tells me it will be a rarity far below what the odds suggest success should be.
I've played games with internet dice and I've had plenty of experience with their randomness, however I can say even though I am a noob to conquer club I have had atrocious 'luck' with their dice thus far.

Yeah, we meant to keep this a secret from you, but the dice are actually skewed against you. All of the better players just got a code that made them win more.

My gut feeling is that it will happen around 20% of the time, (or whatever the actual prob. is) and I would be willing to put cash on that.
Actually, we have coded the dice to look for complaints about them and add a -1 modifier each die per complaint...that might explain why your dice are getting worse.
If you can find a more random number generator than random.org please do let us know and we would be happy to get you "more random" dice, we havn't been able to find anything that shows us, statistically that the dice are not random...
Have a good one

yeah, anyone complaining about 3 vs 3 clearly doesn't understand how the dice probabilities work out.
i could try and school you all, but i won't bother. except to say that if you are the attacker, don't bother attacking unless you can roll three die.
otherwise, the probability almost always works in the favor of the defender.
it's basic math.
so, to explain as simply as possible. DO NOT attack if you are rolling as many die as your opponent.
granted, i'm giving away the big secret here, but i'm sick of these fucking complaints.
and i know i'm a newbie here on CC, but i'm a humongous fucking nerd, and played a shitload of RISK coming up.

have you ever seen an idealist with grey hairs on his head?
or successful men who keep in touch with unsuccessful friends?
you only think you did
i could have sworn i saw it too
but as it turns out it was just a clever ad for cigarettes.

I kind of look at my decision to attack or not the same way I look at my decision about whether or not to sit down at a blackjack table. If you don't have enough in your pocket to ride out a bad streak before you get to a good streak, don't do it. Because anything that has some randomness in it (rolling dice, dealing cards, flipping coins) is also going to be inherently streaky. You don't sit down to a $100 minimum blackjack table with $100 dollars - it's just stupid. Same with attacking - you don't attack a guy with 3 armies when you only have 3 armies. You've got to be able to ride out a bad streak if one comes your way.

nuh uh
No not 'nuh uh' at all. The point is that you and the OP are arguing about the randomness of the dice using 3 vrs 3 as the basis of your arguement. Of course you are going to have 'bad luck' fighting 3 vrs 3, THE ODDS ARE STACKED TOTALLY AGAINST YOU!!! 4 out of 5 times you are going to lose and that is with no 'luck' at all.
The fact that you are even arguing about dice probability and using 3 vrs 3 to prove your point shows that you know little about how either the combat mechanics or dice probability works.
It suggest to me that you both keep performing stupid moves, like 3 vrs 3 attacks and then moaning when you lose....... Seriously if anyone should be rolling my eyes it should be me, after reading some of the rubbish you have posted here.

I really think you lack reading comprehension.
No Sgt Rock, I understand what you are saying. But you are wrong. I will put money that if you fight 1000 3 vrs 3 battles, the attacker will win 1 in 5 of them, approx 200 battles. Because they are the odds and the dice are modelled to mirror real dice.
You are suggesting that is not the case.
My point is that the fact that the OP is using 3 vrs 3 battles and the fact that you never win them, proves that he has no idea about either the battle mechanics or dice probability.
If you look at the dice in this game analysied over a period of time each number is rolled approx. 16.6%, which means they are working correctly.

I am freaking preying for the dice, nothing happens.
But seriously, what is the actual probability of winning 3 vs 1? Can't be more than 20%, the best dice for me is probably 2 vs 1, the probability there is like 40% chance of winning and that is good...
