prefer the flying sharks than the gold chest.

also the ships look kinda squished in this edit...

I'd have to agree about the ships maybe being too much for everything going on in the map. Maybe removed the ships from that area. Perhaps you could take out the chest, and put one ship there.

Also, perhaps you should consider moving the title a little more to the top right so it doesn't feel scrunched either.

Very good job!

Almost perfect. I also think you should move the title. I liked the flying sharks, too. Maybe you could put them in the place of the ships, and the ships instead of the chest. The aztec thing is almost invisible, too, although its a good choice, I think. I simply cant find any problems beyond the little final arts and the title position. Congratulations! :)

Marvaddin wrote:Do we really need that country called Mississipi? The name is big, so it doesnt fit well. You could change the name, or merge with another country (this would bring the number of countries to 42 again).

that's what happened, i removed mississippi because it didn't fit well and the total amount of countries was 43 before it was merged (half went to louisiana and half to alabama)

Why don't you go with "The West Indies", "El Mundo Nuevo" or "The Gulf of Mexico" ?

Those are all titles I have seen on old maps and new (and I've seen a lot).
Though Caribbean Sea and Nueva España aren't too bad either.

Being from Trinidad and Tobago, I'm simply happy to see people using the West Indies for good wholesome fun.
Whatever you choose, I'll play it anyways :D

I like that one's zoom better but the overall quality of maritovw's is better.
