Romney wins Wyoming
in a move that would probably make mtg point out to us all why americans arent paying enough attention to some of the western states, romney won the wyoming caucauses last night. However, because of the timing of the event, none of the candidates actually visited the state, and im not sure anyone will have known it had happened until today.
Seeing as how the Wyoming democratic caucus isn't until May this one caucus tells us even less than it would if both parties had them on the same night. The only reason Iowa is important is because it's the first. Both Iowa and Wyoming are too homogeneous to actually tell us anything certain about candidates true viability.
...where I'm from, we believe all sorts of things that aren't true. We call it -- "history"

well i dont think wyoming has enough political clout to make it all that consequential no matter when you have it but i agree with you mostly.

Do you even know where he stands at everything, or are you just being an ignorant American and stereotyping him because of his religious beliefs?
*edit- no i do not agree with Romney, nor do i hope he wins the presidency, but i will not stand for someone being trashed or rewarded due to his religious beliefs. We live a country where we are granted freedom of religion and just because he's Mormon doesn't mean squat. Grow up and learn to look at the facts rather than at stereotypes.

Wasn't this the guy who was burned by a CCer some time ago? I think there was a thread about it.

That was Rev. Kyle, claimed he burned Romney at an appearance.

Can't say I'm too excited, as I was hoping for McCain, but looking at the Democratic members, none really have a chance to have Wyoming's support. We may have a Democrat as a Governer, but he is quite Conservative, and Wyoming hasn't really gone for a Democrat as President in at least 50 years. And never a Liberal one at that.
"Eh, whatever."

Sorry I just thought that was funny.
I agree totally with you Russianfire that we need to look at where the candidates stand on the issues that are important to us and not at their religious affiliations.

He kept interrupting candidates and bringing up bullshit claims and when anybody called him a flipflopper, he said it was a personal attack and it was uncalled for.
I watched on youtube, I'm sorry to say Ron Paul came off worst
the Giuliani scumbag looked like an idiot and kept on saying "my acheivent" "after 9/11" "one of my successes", pathetic....
McCain and Thompson looked good. Out of interest, are they pro-life?
