Standings are updated but here are the possiblities.

In Group 1
toto.fish has clinched a seat at the finals table with his 9 victories

Jdill8 is close to clinching at least a regional playoff slot. If Evil Semp loses any of his three game JDill will be in a regional playoff at the very least. If JDill8 wins her final game she eliminates magneto_alcolyte and mec26 and advances to the finals if Evil Semp loses any of his final three games.

Magneto_alcolyte and mec26 are mathmatically alive. Both are eliminated if they lose their final game or if JDill wins her final game.

Evil Semp can advance to the final table outright if he wins his final three games and Jdill8 loses her final game. He can advance to the regional finals if he wins at least two of his final three games and JDill8 loses her final game OR if he wins all three of his final three games and JDill8 wins her final game.

In Group 2
Bwana has clinched at least a spot in the regional final. With seven victories the only players that can catch him are fireheart, Optimus Prime. Jet5 and freyme but with freyme, Jet5 and Optimus Prime having three common games clearly they all can't catch Bwana. If none of those three manages to win all three active common games then Bwana advances to the finals or if one of them wins all three common games and fireheart loses her final game then Bwana advances to the final table. If it ends in a three way tie then Bwana is in the regional finals at the very least.

Fireheart with 6 victories is in good shape with a 2 victory lead over her closest active competitor but has not yet clinched. If any of the three players above (Jet5, OP or freyme) win all three common games AND if Jet5 or OP is that player and wins their 4th active game AND fireheart loses her final game then fireheart is eliminated. However, she advances to at least the regional finals with a victory OR two losses by Jet5, OP, freyme and one by romoaugusto

Freyme can advance with victories in his final three games OR, victories in two of the games and a fireheart loss.

Jet5 can advance with victories in his 4 active games OR victories in three of the games and a fireheart loss.

Optimus Prime can advance with victories in his 4 active games OR victories in three of the games and a fireheart loss.

Romoaugusto can advance with a fireheart loss AND victories in his final two games.

Group 3
Nothing is decided yet.

Marshall Law, Bones2484 and Maximum Elvis are in the clubhouse with 6 wins. They all advance to regional playoffs if at least 3 of the following players lose one or more games: Dimnjarstef, FaceyKC, negoeien, and KevinL. They are eliminated if negoeien wins his final 4 games AND either dimnjarstef or FaceyKC wins their final game. Any other combination will result in a regional playoff.

Dimnjarstef and FaceyKC both have 6 wins with one game remaining which is in common. If either of them wins they will clinch placement in the final table. The loser will clinch a spot in the regional playoff if negoeien loses any of his three active games.

negoeien will clinch a spot at the final table with victories in his final three games (in common with FagAsh and KevinL). He will clinch a slot at the regional playoff with victories in two of his final three.

FagAsh must win all three of his final games or be eliminated. If he wins all three he will be in the regional playoff.

KevinL must win at least four of his final five games or be eliminated. If he wins all five he will be at the final table. If he wins four he'll be at the regional finals.

A little more clarity in the past 24 hours.

In Group 1 Evil Semp and magneto have both had losses and been eliminated. mec26 is the only remaining competitor who can force a playoff with JDill8. toto.fish has of course clinched the top spot.

In Group 2 romoaugusto, Optimus Prime and freyme have all been eliminated. Jet5 has accumulated two more victories and stands one behind fireheart for the second spot. Jet5 has two games remaining while fireheart has one and they are head to head in the Age of Merchants

There is no change in Group 3

In Group 3, FaceyKC lost putting him in the clubhouse with 6 wins (joining Bones2484, Marshall Law and Maximum Elvis anxiously watching the results of the final three games). None of these players has clinched a spot yet.

DimnjarStef is battling befera in the Mongol Empire and if Stef wins she goes to the final table with 7 wins.

Neogoien is still fighting in USAppoc and Ancient Greece. If he wins both he goes to the finals with 7 wins.

If either Stef or Neogioen lose at least one of these final three games we will be having a regional playoff played on the Asia map among those with 6 wins. If both Stef and Neo win out then those two advance to the finals and all others are eliminated.

Two games remain in each district and we have one rep from Group 3 (diminjarstef), both from Group 2 (Bwana and fireheart) and one from Group 1 (toto.fish) while JDill8 in Group 1 has clinched at least a regional playoff game.

mec26 appears to be taking charge in Space and with a win will force a one-on-one regional playoff with JDill8.

Group 3 is already playing a five man final to determine its final slot.

The finals games have all been created and are just awaiting the final player to start the first 4.

For those who don't remember. The first part of the finals will be 4 6-player games with any player without a victory eliminated after the four games are completed. The remaining players will then play two more games with wins carried forward to crown a champion. If there is a tie at the end of these 6 games then there will be a one game play off on the classic map between all tied players.

We have our first finals round win as DimnjacarStef wins the Middle Earth map. The 8 Thoughts map is down to the final 3 while the other two have yet to post an elimination.
