bombardment and fog of war

Ok - some maps have bombardment capability and I understand that you would be able to see where the others are that you could bombard, but could they see you?

Terminator in City Mogul [Answered]

Well, here is my question. In City Mogul, it is possible to win by controlling the mall and city map.

If you control those, do you get the points for defeating the others, or do you still have to individually defeat them?

Actually, it seems as though the airplane bonuses are occurring when you have the group, so there is probably a "not" in the wrong place somewhere.

Draw

Actually, you should probably just put it as "Wild Card." - This would guarantee no bonus.

You could reinforce one area, then adjust it during the same turn (while others are making their moves - or even afterwards).

What if your initial troop deployment was hidden?

What I mean is that it could be hidden until all players have set up. This way, you can set it up the way you want it without waiting for everyone else to do so as well. Also, everyone else's but yours could be a neutral color so that you can't ...

Or we could just have the mods automatically delete all of the questions that are answered in the instructions and sticky a note at the top saying: "If your thread is deleted, try reading the instructions or the FAQ."

Not necessarily. The solo player is guaranteed a card before the team is finished with it's second round, with another at every round after that. On the other hand, if the team is having really bad luck, they may not be able to cash in until round 6. Now, this could be beneficial in an escalating ...

Well, for escalating, that could escalate as well. It could start at 1 and increase, say in the following pattern (and this is just a suggestion): 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10. You could even have a max set up so that you can't just increase it that way. Say someone sends in two 10 counts, that is an extra 20 ...

Pretty much - though if it was flat rate, you could also have it so that was also flat rate - whether color based (red=1, green=2, blue=3, multi=4), set flat rate (all equal), or even split flat rate (red and green = 1 each, blue and multi = 2 each).

In a short game, standard cash-in values would ...

New Card Option

<Subject>:

* My suggestion (this time) is that, instead of simply using the current methods of turning in cards, that we allow a constant reinforcement bonus.

The only problem that I see with this one is that the first player (who already has some advantage) gets an even bigger advantage because they get the additional reinforcements first every time.

Or people could just make a gif map - these could be animated without too much additional bandwidth usage. I would put this on a 1 as far a priority goes - changing the current maps would probably be more work than it is worth.

Actually, if you are going to alternate turns like that, the solo player has a much greater advantage.

I would suggest fewer to start with. If you are going to alternate, even having the same number of armies could be considered equal (or even giving the single player an advantage) for several ...

Of the 4500 dice that I have thrown to this point with the dice analyzer, these are my results for a 3:2:

273 wins (38.61%)
221 ties (31.26%)
213 losses (30.13%)

Seems pretty close to me

That's with 2121 dice thrown on my end.

Is it possible to add a sort games function to the "my games" page?

You are both right - and those are both reasons why I suggested this.

In a smaller game (or even a team game), the player/team with first move has a greater advantage when playing unlimited. With my suggestion, the game starts as though it is just chained, but becomes more like unlimited as it ...

Ascending Chained

In a two player game, going with unlimited fortifications gives way too much of an advantage to the first player whereas it is sometimes nice to be able to fortify more than one territory in a turn.

What if you could fortify based on the number of turns?

You could also have it so that you can ...
