I think Zorba's suggestion is simple, and effective. Best of all, it really doesn't upset the current rankings (I'd be fine with changes to my score in either direction, but you just KNOW a major change to existing scores would cause a huge outcry).

It seems like the dice results have changed radically in the past two days or so. Other people are commenting on it too. And looking around at maps covered with 1 army each, I'd have to believe that they are all going through what I am - running through the entire group of armies in each country ...

Couldn't agree more. I feel the same way when someone asks me to ally. I understand it's a part of the game, and allowable if done in full view of the other players, but I'm not for it at all. I never accept requests, and tend to go after those people first as well.
