and can it be programmed so you get armies equal to what you get at the START of the turn (multiplied by missed turns) and not at the end. because some1 could miss 2 turns, get three armies at beginning and then take a continent for lets say +2 and then get 10 more armies at end of turn (instead of ...

Missed turns solution.
Edit: In Summary: You still get the extra armies from your missed turns, but cannot place them until the end of your turn.
Ok, so I know Lacks already got a "to-do" for this issue, but noone really knows what he is planning so I wanted to put this out there.

Wow, I think Brahms just had the greatest idea ever! This guys a genius. I was about to suggest something like getting a 2/3 multiplier, but this is a much better idea.

I want to bring back this old post because I think this was one of the best ideas anyone has had in a while. I wish we could hear lacks opinion on it, or at least some opinions of the people, because so far its just been one guy who really doesn't like this idea.

I think its a good idea. In fact I think we should do something to discourage the high ranks from using that triples game strategy. Probably half the games they play have one deadbeat, since only noobs join the triples games without a team. I don't even know what fun they get out of this. Clearly ...

I think this is a very interesting idea.
It fits along the same lines as the "unlimited adjacent fortifications" Both great ideas that I'm all for. They are the most realistic, in that in real life troops can only move so far in an amount of time. But different troops in different places can move ...

I can't believe everyone wants to change this.
I have only missed 1 turn in total, and that was in a freestyle game when I was out of town for a weekend.
