Re: Is American Football boring?

Are you seriously trying to say that there was more strategy to football back in the infant days of the shotgun formations? You're either retarded or messing with me right now and I'm thinking it's the first option.

Re: Is American Football boring?

It's pretty much a fixed game overall, though, isn't it? It's not as if local teams, or states without a franchise can compete. It's really a business more than a sport, from the college level up, it's a leviathan.

I don't understand how it could be considered a fixed game. Local or semi-pro ...

Re: Hope you didn't rack up too much debt at college

One thing I've noticed is that there is a HUGE difference between the competency of the engineering interns we hire and our new hires who are very close in age. I'm guessing part of it is psychological because one is more inclined to go into it with the mentality of a summer job while the other is ...

Re: Hope you didn't rack up too much debt at college

I graduated from college, got a better job than my friends who didn't go to school and I use what I learned from my program every day at work...seems like I'm a minority. I guess it varies in different fields/industries though.

Re: Shame on you USA and your right to OWN guns

Guns have been around for a long time, there are plenty of them spread out across the world. If you really want to get your hands on them (legal or illegal) it's not that difficult. 3D printers won't have any significant impact on the availability of guns, only how they are registered. I understand ...

What do you have that shoots those? I'd love to get something that can have that kind of power from long range.

Re: Body Building

Shoulders are a funny thing...
I wrestled in high school and over lifted with bad form in my early 20's. By my 30's I started having issues. Eventually I found my way to cortisone. 11 shots in my right shoulder until they finally stopped working. Last year I had a subacromial decompression ...

Re: Body Building

If you go through phases of doing different reps it keeps your body from plateauing and getting used to high or low reps. I like to start out with high reps and do the sets I laid out before for about a month or so and gradually work my way down to high weight low reps. Some trainers will say give ...

Re: Body Building

I've never gone into body building but I've trained for football and been given advice from my school's trainers up until a few years ago. As far as working out goes there are 3 phases of developing strength/muscles. The first is obviously what you do to lift, run or whatever. I still do the same ...

Re: Post a picture of yourself!

Ok, so I figured it's time to let you guys have a good laugh at my expense. Here I am at my 15th high school reunion. That's my wife with her back to the camera. I used to pick on the guy on the left but about 7 years later, he got me my current job. Now I sort of have to call him boss. We still ...

Re: The Most Underrated Sport?

I would like to watch what a professional dodgeball or handball game would be like...& lacrosse has potential, but right now it's just a yuppee sport. It's gonna need to pick up a broader audience if it's going to do well publicly. And soccer is big in America for playing up until high school/middle ...
