Thank you for your offer. I don't need it but it's kind of you to give it away.

Re: BIG PRIZE TOURNAMENT COMING?

Thank you, Silly-King It for offering, and the rest of you for advice. I really want to. Not sure why it isn't easier. How do we get in touch with CC? They need to fix this!

Re: BIG PRIZE TOURNAMENT COMING?

Start with a smaller tournament. Epic ideas are a recipe for disaster. If you really want to be creative, the Great War is looking for event writers, so you could probably set your idea up for that and it would be very popular.

I appreciate the help. Maybe I will start small and get the feel of ...

BIG PRIZE TOURNAMENT COMING?

Ok, so I want to host my own tournament. I want to have four divisions with the winners all collecting free quarterly membership prizes while advancing to the final round. Add two wild cards and then things would be set for a multi-game, six player final with a membership prize for a whole year for ...

Re: Ever Played RISK against yourself and yourself and yours

I have a dry erase board and a thin sheet of clear plastic I use for drawing out my own maps. It is kinda costly to learn maps as you go on CC if you care about your rating. I haven't decided if I do or not.

Ever Played RISK against yourself and yourself and yourself?

Ok so I love playing RISK, I have the 40th anniversary edition, I recently made my own homemade RISK board (it's a prototype) and I have played some games by myself. I play as six different players trying to make the moves that are in the best interest of each particular color I am playing as at the ...

IS RISK (CC) ADDICTIVE?

Hey everyone,

What do you think? Is RISK addictive? CC I mean. I keep wanting to play more and more and more. Haha but I am actually trimming it down a little before I get obsessed because I have more important things going on in life than this amazingly delightful digital version of my favorite ...

Re: How does a truce work?

The fairest way to play in my opinion is without truces. I figure that the people calling for truce aren't playing a fair game. 9 times out of 10, people who make a x turn truce, tend to continue this now unspoken truce throughout the rest of the game, ganging up on everyone else. If it's a one ...

Re: How does a truce work?

In tight circumstances Instead of making a truce, try threatening an opponent and let him know if he hits you back you will take him down with you. But don't bluff! Be willing to hit him really hard if he does what you wanted him not to do. You will lose some games this way and you will win some ...

Trouble giving players ratings at the end of a game?

Ok so I won a game and there were some guys who deserve poor ratings because of their poor sportsmanship, but now that the game is over I do not have the option of giving them ratings as I do at the conclusion of most games. The game was recent, so why can't I leave a rating? Does anyone else ever ...

Re: HOMEMADE RISK BOARD IDEA

Hmmm... I guess sitting around the table with friends having s good time with th best board game ever on a customized edition isn't appealing to CC players. I'm going to try to build one.

HOMEMADE RISK BOARD IDEA

Ok, so I have an idea for a RISK game board to use at home. Tell me what you think...
Things to get:
1) A dry erase board (a moderately large one which is bigger than a game board)

2) A pack of 6+ colored dry erase markers.

3) A thin piece of clear plastic from a poster board frame (they sell ...

Why do we play RISK?

Hi everyone, I love RISK and I'm enjoying being on CC. Something I have noticed about some of my opponents is that some have played thousands of games and have been doing so steadily for 10 years here on CC. Apparently they are not getting tired of it. If you are a long time player, what is it that ...
