Re: Predict-a-move game design

back to some of the basic assumptions I set out. small maps, limited possibilities. experts, no random or revenge moves. trench, no long sequences.
It would be possible to give part scores to the top 3 candidate moves as stated by the expert. Maybe ignore drops and forts and choose from only ...

Re: Predict-a-move game design

ok Owen. peace?
you are clearly involved and devoted to CC.
I only suggest a different form of the game because certain aspects of cc don't appeal to me. hearts, stars, cannons, or 3 year touraments are ok for some. Just saying, that following along with a high level game would be interesting for me ...

Re: Predict-a-move game design

owen. dude! it is predict a move for this game not chess, chess on a "risk" website seems pointless. predict-a-move was a very popular feature on the chess website(site had 25000 paying members and growing) the suggestion was not intended to save this site, is it dying? hadn't heard. however, it ...

Predict-a-move game design

here is an idea (stolen from a chess website)for a new feature. please comment. maybe we can generate some interest.

Predict-a-move tournament (requires system development)
Game between 2 anonymous masters , with running commentary to explain motives. It would not have be live, but a recorded game ...

Re: New Game - Retaliation: Enemy Mine

hi, Intigration could be ok and bring new people in. Before that you should reprogram bots for higher level strategy, assign levels that correspond to player ratings. When live games are waiting, it would be great to have a rapid bot game against competitive bots. Not ones programed to let you win ...

Re: speed games

Maybe smarter bots are the answer for quick games? I'm new to the site. I found beating bots that are programmed to let you win gets old. It does not prepare you for "live" games. Bots with better strategic progamming would make me interested in playing when 24 hr games are waiting. A 2 tier rating ...

Re: Sign up here for Team Training

hi, can you put me on your list? thanks.
been playing for 3 months, playing a variety of settings. The results are inconsistant, working with someone should help with correct tactics. I get burned by being too agressive, then to passive.
