Re: Map Ideas
2)Maybe a city map, something like New York / London / Stockholm, a traditional style map, but in the shape and form of a real city as oppose to a country or region, i know there is a city map, but it is fictional, so what about a real city map?

You can take the Big Brother concept and adjust the names, copyright or not. The idea of Big Brother isn't new, but 1984 is most famous for espousing it in such a vivid way. Any lawyers who might claim a name-changed version is a copy wouldn't have ground to stand on.

Re: pacific garbage island map...
Garbage Island maybe, instead of some worldview of a bunch of islands. Or maybe just a sea, like the Pacific shown in the first pic?
I think there's some potential here, but the idea needs a little spice.

Re: Heart attack!
I like it, it's a good idea, and i'd happily play that map, though the lines are very confusing and hard to follow. And i think some of the routes between the out/in blood vessels could do with being removed, there's a few too many

Some Advice - Would this be allowed?
I was thinking, how about a map based on George Orwell's 1984, that said i'm not sure what you'd do for territories, though you could probably have one region of the ministries, and one for the proles etc. etc., but it might collide with copyright issues, but i reckon it could be done as to avoid ...

The second one would just be classic less oceania and plus 4 islands?

Re: Map Ideas
Pangea seems to be the concensus of most of those. The only major foreseeable problem is what would you call the territories? Laurasia and Gondwanaland are givens, but much beyond that?

Re: Pokemon map.
How about a Pokemon map? it can have Johto, Kanto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh. The map would have to be from the games, not the official artwork, because the official artwork is too complicated. I think it would be fun.

Sure, I love doing design things like that, i even have a half-finished website (m). I'd probably end up getting carried away and making undue amounts if it isn't too argeous...

Re: Map Ideas
@Industrial: Thanks, i think Gibraltar would be pretty awesome to play too. And a Pangea map must be reasonably easy to produce, Again, I would do it myself, but other than owning Photoshop CS4, I have no hand in graphical design, unless anyone can sort of give me a walkthrough of the tools ...

Re: "Clue-based" tournament...can it work?
In Addition to that, if the tournament is basically, the first person for the pair of wins on specific settings, the speed is an issue... Sequential games take a lot longer, than freestyle...and speed games even more so... so if one person had to get a speed game... if they figure this out early ...

I think B too, but I want to say A...
So why do you host a non-official tournament version with 8 people or something, and use it as a beta. I'd be willing to participate, I'd really like to see how it worked. To win, wouldn't 2 people have to guess the right settings to play against one another?

Re: Tournament Ideas: Free to a Good Home
As a tournament idea: How about Tournament of the Forgotten Lands, a simple 32/64 person knockout, playing on all those traditional style maps that you never seem to see on the game finder anymore, E.G. North America, Arctic, Cairns Coral Coast.
