Re: Flanders 1302V14 [D][Gp][G][XML][Beta]

And amazingly, only 15 pages of forumposts to arrive at a beta.

Is that a sign of quality, mapsimplicity or not enough people interested in commenting about it ?

I am glad you give all aspects (design, gameplay, historical relevance) a very good thinking. I see the map is in skilled hands

Clear the blue (border-) paint in Illyria between the two mountain ranges left and right ( at the upper half of Illyria..just right of the "y" of Italy). From a distance it is not clear that you can pass inbetween up north. If it is yellow , it's immediately clear.

Warsaw (blue in yellow) and ...

Re: WWII-Stalingrad [D,GP,GR] V36 (P40) XML Checked, All Goo

If R03 and R06 were connected and R04 and R05 were, there would be no chance for confusion about the possibility of everyone attacking everyone else. Similarly, it might be better if the route from R07 to R08 and the one from R07 to R09 were separate along their entire length, so that no one thinks ...

Re: WWII-Stalingrad [D,GP,GR] V36 (P40) XML Checked, All Goo

I think the problem is that you can enter the russian side only by gen chuikov

so should R01 to Golodny Island have no arrow on that dotted line?
so one can enter also from that end?

Yes, yes..that was the idea.
So then you'd have to remove the arrow tip on R01 on the map, so that one can ...

Re: Russian Revolution 5/9 p. 1

I will like this map.

a) Though I question why the two british invasion troops should be awarded (relatively) high bonustroops.
Their actual numbers were first of all small (non effective fighting/occupation/control forces on territory scale), and secondly they were never renewed or refreshed. So ...

Re: Operation Market Garden

and to add a remark on the problem with 8 players in the "traditional" long stretched map (semi-1 dimensional route):
For sure after 5 of the 8 players are eliminated you'll find 1 player dominant in the bottom of the map, another in the top and the third in the middle.
It goes without saying that ...

in addition to the above:

You go for the whole Market Garden approach..that's impressive.

And to have a map with all too fixed /rigid map patterns (decay at many places...only a thin stretch of road being hunted after by all ...

Re: Operation Market Garden

For now a short remark as I want to link it in my postings.

I like the Market Garden game. Someone tried it a while ago but aborted it (in an early stage..so nothing's wasted).

1) Think carefully what Market Garden battle you want to model.
Only Arnhem ground battles area?
Or the whole UK-arnhem ...

Re: Napoleonic Europe 1812 - Version33 [Gp] waiting for GR stamp

The "Sw" is obscured by the 888 in Swiss Federation.
Also "Sx" for Saxony is very very hard to read when it is encircled by psychedelically coloured 888s and a Shield in and around Saxony and the "c" border left of "Sx".
The "L" of Lisbon is hard to detect as it runs along the coastline.
The "D" of ...

Version 35
I've added small same colour shapes to the target cells for the snipers....does this help any to identify who bombard where.

The S2 sniper targetcellblock in R13th is missing.
In the S2 targetcell on the riverbank looks like the river colour.
Perhaps make both target cells more ...

Re: German/Italian Unif. [D] 11/30 p. 8 Germany set for GP?

if a split bonus is held in addition to BOTH zones, then the larger bonus applies .

So if you have france (2) and elzas (+1 or +2) and Rhein Preuss (2) you 'll receive only 4 bonustroops ?

if a split bonus is held in addition to BOTH zones, then the larger SPLITbonus applies

Then you'll have 2 ...
