I guess I'd expect it to go one of a few ways: mirroring the current USA map color scheme, going full on red-white-and-blue, or going a more traditional route with more evenly distributed colors across the spectrum - it doesn't seem to balance aesthetically-speaking.

In theory you have my full support here. It's a life that I think that someone should be in charge to restrict the map that can be done.
