Just giving this thread a bit of a bump to keep it fresh (it's a great idea).

I saw elsewhere that Lack is planning to implement something along these lines once he gets the chance.

The games we play are password-protected. Since we all know each other (and we all live in the US), the time zone thing will not be an issue.

Not that I'm opposed to the game lobby idea. I just don't think it is necessary for a 'pause during weekends' option.
