Yes, it has. My apologies. I decided to suspend development until I could figure out the copyright issues (which I have been admittedly very lazy about...) But I haven't forgotten about this map! It'll just be on the back burner for now; if everything goes smoothly I should be done by 2018.

Here's a preliminary draft of the small version. It's a bit messy and missing a train, but it should give the general idea.

Thanks for the words of support guys! It means a lot, really.

I'll be working on a preliminary small image, just to be sure that it's possible. There's a lot of stuff in the large image that's not strictly necessary. (Unfortunately all in the vertical direction)

I do have a question about names ...

Updated with ninth draft (see first post).

Gameplay Changes:

⋅ Ticket counters can now bombard outside territories. This should make the center, specifically the parking garage, a viable option.

Right on And most of the other airports I looked at were either blocky and boring, or separated into disconnected terminals, and I didn't know how to make those playable without introducing some artificial gameplay elements.

Besides, screw JFK airport.

a one-way attack would be better I think ...

I mean letting United bombard S5, Delta bombard N6, etc. I added new instructions in the lower right and updated the bonuses.

I'm toying with the idea of making the ticket counters bombardiers to make them more useful, and to shrink the map a little. What do you think?

and maybe the batter can do ranged attacks on all the stands (or at least some) to simulate home runs :P

Seconded... it would add a "baseball" quality to the game. It would make the batter a very powerful space, though ...

I'm not keen on the blinding white - perhaps a slightly more subtle tone?
The white is key! It has to look like a map you'd see in an airport or department store or mall, or in a leaflet, and I can't remember many that have had backgrounds other than white or black...

this looks great, like a real airport map.

i would nice the A-D train, its a bit confusing, also concourse A and D are only 3 spaces away from each other anyways.

also, i fear bad things will happen when you try to make a small version of this.

-Changed coffee circles. Implemented vakEirn's suggestion to differentiate Starbucks and Seattle's Best.
-Changed transit lines back to straight lines. They were fat and circuitous.

How does one control a coffee shop?
With a bullhorn and a blowtorch

Do the icons (airplane, restaurant, coffee shop, bus, etc) serve any purpose? Are they going to be the army circles? Are they territories ?
The black ones are army circles; the coffee ones double as both army circles and ...
