I think i have probably played more D-DAY games than anyone else (1,000 games)... and I have some GREAT improvements to this map that i IMPLORE you to consider... There is a HUGE PROBLEM with this map... the first player has a HUGE advantage... Here are 3 ideas to fix the problem...

COMMANDER'S MOVE...!!!!!

you know what the COMMANDER'S MOVE is...??? same as the alternate rules of the risk game... whereby the ATTACKER gets to change ONE of his dice to a SIX... exactly ONCE per turn... this will alleviate the concern over dice luck... since it's nearly always the ATTACKER who notices his horrid dice ...

i have STARTED over 100 two man games... and i have gone SECOND in about 80% of those games (standard... not freestyle)... what gives... this is WAY too high a percentage to be related only to luck... is there ANY association between STARTING the game... and going first...???

i've started over 100 two man games... i have gone second in about 75-80% of them... why...? does STARTING the game have ANY effect whatsoever in determining who goes first in a STANDARD game...??????? I'm totally aware that in a freestyle game anyone can go first... but my question is...

i have started about 100 two man games... i have gone second about 75 times during that span... is there any reason for this...??? does the person who starts the game have worse odds of going first...??? don't tell me it's just luck... because i have seen this WAY too many times for that...
