It's been so bad so far, . . . we can only hope it's going to be epic.
Although as has been pointed out, the Lions are a tease, and it's very likely that they are only teasing us by flirting with 0-16. This team is so bad, I don't even think they can be good at losing.

Re: Is God really Just?
I've never claimed God was Nice, that was you. I said he was just. I don't know that I care much about being nice.

Re: Is God really Just?
OK, so I can see that you could argue from this point of view that God is nice, yes? But nice doesn't mean just, at least not in this case. It definitely means "inconsistent" if we go with the "no-one' allowed into heaven, fair is fair, except when jesus died, OK then you can get in". (hate to ...

Re: Is God really Just?
If this 'God' was so intent on letting souls be saved, then couldn't he just erase all memories of evil, magically prevent all future evil-acts, and give us all a clear and comprehensive tutorial on how to go about freely repenting were we minded to do so?

Re: Is God really Just?
IF there was a God, s/he (according to Christian dogma) isn't just at all, purely for the fact that God would rather have people in heaven who may have lived life being an absolute asshole (ie. Bush and his end time croonies who own and run coorporations that directly profit from war and natural ...

Re: Is God really Just?
I merely have outlawed the Christian God as being one of the plausible sources, notably because of all the fallacies I personally have found within the Bible.
Can we discuss these individually? I can't address all the "fallacies" that you personally feel are prohibitive.

I think the Katrina was actually made by the government (or shadow government) to not only cripple our economic system, but to practice Martial Law and see what their minions could expect. Katrina was a runner up to the next event...something BIG! Something that will blow your socks off.

What a miserable day at work today. Everyone was grumpy from the combination of staying up to 1, and then actually thinking about the fact the Wings lost. It's kind of a new experience.
The worst thing is, now we have to stay up all night Wednesday and party.

So we've no decided that if a mother's health is at risk, we can kill a recently conceived child?

And to act preemptively here: I really doubt abortions at a late stage of the pregnancy are ever "convenience abortions" where the parents-to-be decide they don't want a child after all, as some people would like to describe all abortions that take place. If an abortion takes place then I suppose ...

with the understanding that it's quite possible I'm feeding a troll, I will point out that there is no biblical evidence for unicorns. If they existed at the time of the flood they were on the ark, but I have yet to see any evidence for the existance of unicorns.

MeDeFe, God is Spirit, meaning non corporeal entity. He has and does impact the known universe in two ways; naturally and supernaturally. Because he is non corporeal and simply wills change, the cause of the change is either perceptible through events He has preordained, or it is not perceptible. If ...

For the 1st time in my life I feel bad for a Colorado goaltender. Neither of those guys were to blame for their performances. I think the question itself is a bit misleading. I don't think our imagining of God is nearly as important as the actual character of God.
