I had a look down my foes but I can't see anyone there I'd like to play again. In fact the process just reminded me of someone else i wanted to foe, so I actually have more foes now than before

Technically it probably is a "hostage", but I must have played this map 100 times and I don't think I've ever won through taking sanctuary. The guy was a jerk - he should just let me take sanctuary next turn and stop moaning.

I used to really love the original board game of Axis & Allies. I remember taking over an hour just to set it up. The game itself would then last all weekend.

I'd like to add my thanks to all those who've helped create this map - I've played 20 games already and it's well on its way to becoming my favourite.

I'd also like to add my vote to keeping the objective to either granada tor vatican - i feel this is already difficult to hold for one turn and if ...

I'd just like to add that I think this is a great map (although my own county isn't named ) and that I've enjoyed every game I've played on this map so far - win or lose!
