Re: eatthisubytch [Closed] DCR
Yes, and one of eatthisubytch's first games was a suicide on unclezeebus. Anyway, his comments have been removed from that game (stuff about revenge) and he's been kicked out of his other games for "rules violation", so the mods must have done something.

Re: StreetCred Abusive Chat [noted] BG
He was reffering to me, A Brit in China. Funniest thing is he gave me a rating of all ones, for being rude!, secret diplomacy (I won that 8 player game fair and square), and cheap tactics. Couldn't even be bothered to waste my time giving him a rating... If BG feels like removing it I'd be happy ...

Re: Conquer Rome (The Fall of the Roman Empire) [BETA]
Genius! I'm a freemium so it's slow going getting into the map, but I know already it's going to be one of my favorites. Along with, may I add, Kings Court and Napoleonic Europe (stick in Third Crusade here too, but I'm still poor at it).

Re: Napoleonic Europe Strategy
I usually play foggy and 6-8 player games and competition at the start can be fierce, taking a 1-2 bonus can keep you out of the way of others, give you some capital to work on other areas and generally buy some time.
Having said that there really are only two of these kinds of bonuses (capitals ...

Napoleonic Europe Strategy
Napoleonic Europe 1812 has to be my favorite map on CC, but being relatively new there doesn't seem to be much out there on strategy. Any chance of getting a disscusion going on the advantages/disadvantages of various starting positions and various strategies for sucess etc.

Re: The Dawn Of Ages[D,Gp,Gr,XML] Waiting for Beta v2
I meant to say that none of the dwarven strongholds have names on the map, which means you have to look closely when deploying or cashing cards, not really a problem as anyone with a couple of minutes spare would figure it out but if you dont connect gates with said strongholds visually then you're ...

Re: The Dawn Of Ages[D,Gp,Gr,XML] Waiting for Beta v2
Just to point out that Anshar Dwarves' Stronghold is hard to... actually I'm not going to bother, the dwarf thingies are hard to figure unless you have read the pages, but having said that it had no effect on the game i am playing and am enjoying it very much despite the fact it has exposed my ...

World 2.1 terminator escalating advice
Any advice for this 5423478 , I'm not looking for a turn by turn tutorial (as i know you guys are busy) just any basic advice for this game. My first 2.1 game i played was the same settings and i played it like a complete newbie (board game style, going for bonuses) and almost won, though I had a ...

Most important positions on Classic
In a nutshell what are the most important, key, positions in classic? I'm a newbie and i know that for each scenario the crux points change, but generally speaking i'm thinking N4, F3, E7 and A5 because of the attacking options they offer. On the other hand, of late i have seen people choosing ...

Terminator with flat rate
A query, should terminator flat rate be played in a similar way to the way taught here with escalating, I'm playing a small map, Phillipines, with six players and some look as if their playing a form of the game taught here for escalating and others look to be playing a traditional game. It looks as ...

Re: Top Ten Individual Map Ranks..new
Completely off topic, dont think I can start a thread myself, but does anyone, anywhere know if it is possible to play the original Civilization BOARD GAME online, never found it myself, it would be sweet journey down memory lane.

Re: Introduction Thread for New Students
Hi, I'm werealldevodad, played risk a lot but only the board version or against a computer. Finding out that on here the tactics are different and would like to improve. Sometimes I finish a move in what i thought was a game just getting started only to return a few hours later and find it already ...
