I played here for a while some years back. Mostly flat rate or no spoils pretty standard maps. I did ok, and had some good fun - but eventually i got bored, didn't renew my premium, and stopped playing. A while back a friend of mine inspired me to give it another go ...

Coloring/style;
In my opinion, the map is way to dark. As porkenbeans said, the water needs to be contrasted from the land. I also think that the land areas should have a more 'natural' feel to the colors.

I think you should drop the runes in the mini map. The elder futhark is about 700 years off on a 13th century map.

I recently found the map rank script, and it's a fun little add-on. I played around a bit with the map rank scoreboard server, and I found something odd (at least to me):

Not that i'm a very experienced player, but i must say that I enjoy 3 player flat rate speed games. A 4-5 player speed is perhaps even more fun, but it takes quite a while longer to finish. If i've got an hour or two to spare, but not much more, 3p seems to be the way to go.
