I dont like the fact that people abuse the deadbeating, but its not nearly as bad as the abuse that would spring up if they were to change it.

3v3 or 2v2 freestyles would have a much bigger problem to be exploited... the cheap ass strategy of finishing your teams' turn first and then waiting ...

I really dont like this map at all. I'm just going to be honest here. It just looks ugly. The playability is decent but you just dont have the graphic design skills to pull it off. I'm not trying to be mean even though you prolly are going to take offense.

1) the continent borders still seem a little too simple compared to the territory borders.

I always figured that the regions were designed for playability over accuracy. And in that respect, its quite a nice map.

I think its pretty close to perfect now.

The continent bonus is perfect as far as I'm concerned. And i could go either way on the shape region bonuses-- either the current picture or the 1 1 1.

The king bonuses is the only nitpick I have. I think it might be better to move the two king bonus ...

I did look at the to do list and I missed that one, but I think this would be much simpler. No need to change much coding-wise... just ending one player's turn will start the next player's.

Suggestion: Real Time Game Option

new game option: real-time game where each person only has an hour to take their turn.

Once the game starts, the first player's turn starts automatically (no BEGIN TURN option), giving them only an hour to finish their turn. Once they end their turn, it starts the next player, etc.
