tman - I think the tunnels idea is an interesting idea, but it's not something I see for this particular map though.

Maybe you could consider creatin gyour own map with it. Could work really well if you planned it from scratch!

Marv - in that map there's 20 countries. But it's a concept more than anything else. I can easily bump up the number of towers, attackers, as wel as the buildings inside the baileys very easily to make it a higher number.

Castle Map

Hi Guys,

I've been working on a concept for a new map. Here's a sketch of the idea:

Territories:
North Towers (3 towers)
South Towers (3 towers)
Gatehouse (3 towers)
Attackers (4 tents/encampments)
Inner Bailey ...

Unfortunately though, I still don't think it will uncover the main problem with the CC dice. I bet in the long run the # of 1's and 6's thrown will all even out. It's just that in the short run you have days of really good attacks and times of terrible attacks. It's not that the different numbers ...

Honestly, this map needs a lot more work to make it usable. I think you need to try find someone who can help you with the graphics.

Speaking of 1800s london. A historical map of london could be an interesing concept to think about.

What software areyou using, as always I advocate using a vector graphics application to avoid the harsh jaggy edges.

I think this would help un-organized teams become more organized and level the playing field a bit.

That's exactly my thinking. It's almost impossible to beat a team organised with messenger. THis might level that out a bit. I'm always wary of playing team games, but they're great fun with a bit ...

Team Talk in Chat Window

I know there's a million suggestions but i'll throw this one in because it'd be handy too.

It would be handy if there was a way to send a message just to your team mates(s) in the chat window. It would be an easy way to co-ordinate team games without messing around with PMing or instant messaging ...

Re: Choose your colour

Being a boy, I hate it when I am the last person to join a game and I am pink.

Are you seriously worried about your colour being pink? That's the kind of thing an 8 year old gives out about.

EDIT: I just looked at your web site. If you're man enough to boast about choreographing dance moves ...

The best thing is to do is not sign up to games before you're going on holiday.

If you really need to feed your addiction just play freestyle, escalatin, as they usually only last about 3-4 days.

So if i have windows and no money to buy programs i cant anti-alliase?

I'm sure there's tons of vector apps that do it, they're just not as good as commercial apps.

If you use a free application like paint.net or GIMP and actually 'paint' your map as if you were using oil paints you won't ...

I will maintain the legend centralized, I cant see any difficulty. But if you see, dont worry. We all memorize the bonuses of the maps we like and rarely read the legend

I like the ledgend as is (centred and big)

People often say that, but it's proven to be wrong. Big is fine, but ,multi-line centered text is very hard for the eyes to read. It's not something you ever see in professional work.

You need to either left align or right align the legend. Having it centered like that is very difficult to read, and looks awkward.

I agree with gavin, you really need to learn to use another program with proper anti-aliasing. This looks like a great map, and it would be much better without the ...

Re: learning states/provinces

I am appalled that someone would worry about this.

Find something more important to be embarrassed about than the percentage of people who know the capital of ...

Cause it's smaller, and it was better to have no border and a larger game area so everything's clearer.
