It's been a year since i've been on Conquer club, and i've missed it very much,
I quit conquerclub after almost burning out with all of the stress of exams, and I wanted to start fresh on a map idea i gave up on a while back!

just maybe increase all point requirements by, lets say, 140%, (x1.4) and bam, inflation gone, and everybody gets the rank they deserve...

I think you fail at math. x1.4 is a 40% increase. 140% is x2.4.

add more ranks and raise point requirements for existing
many people say its getting easier and easier to move up the ranks due to point inflation... more users, more points, and if somebody stops playing, the points they lost add to the pot...
so, instead of my idea of the "point-tax" in which everybody loses 1% of there points every month

yes, the older one is actually probably the easier to navigate with the plain backdrop, and the soft pastels for the connections...
I actually prefer the plain whites to the colors, its looks organized, and simplistic, like a cube.

the bonus legend... the names of the continents are a wee bit hard to read... i think it would look a lot better if a little less glow was applied... at least to the darker Panama and ...

The graphics are already hammered out.
not until you receive that graphics stamp (or have you, and its just not in the title or in the first post)
The map you provided is also in only 3 layers, not 4, and there is a significant visual difference.

sounds good, cant wait to see it...
as far as gameplay goes, we still need to discuss bonus structures.... The rest really is part of the map..
are we going to have a bonus per territory (maybe, +1 per territ)
or maybe continents based on rank? (+20 for holding all of the cooks)
or maybe an auto ...

thats pretty good. I totally understand that two maps at once can be a real pain
as far as the next draft. keep in mind that ranks will have to be able to fit in a similar pattern as above!

since reserves arent signing up, i have decided to kick out those two teams who refuse to show, and give one of the teams a bye. to help balence the bye out, this team will have to win TWO games against the next team, while they must only win one to proceed ...

For the bonus system, I'm vying for something where one territory will get you a bonus.
Ie, cooks are 1 each, then progress up by one for each rank. Perhaps an autodeploy?
