I happened upon a thread you responded to, then remembered all the valuable feedback you contributed to my maps, then searched your posts, then clicked on the oldest post, then went back a few pages.... and here we are.

2 more years of uni - i thought you were older than that?

Re: Is CC Declining?

CC for all intensive purposes is dead! The new ownership is neglecting the communities wants and desires and working mostly on his wants and desires! Which is part of the reason why I left Team CC! BW does not seem to listen to his volunteers!!! It's his way or the highway - at least that is the ...

cool -

could you incorporate some of the major highways into the map? I remember the opening credits of walking dead shows I-85 with bumper to bumper leaving the city, no cars leading in. (I don't really like the muted google map in the background).

How about less obtrusive mountains, sort of blend them into the map a little better like these?

If you like these, I can help, but the file would be photoshop.

don't know what font that was. Didn't save the file. And sorry about the Aleena comment. It's like she just likes to argue. You don't have to put everyone's name on YOUR map just because they contributed feedback during it's development. It's very nice of you, but not necessary. I would keep it ...

This map looks good. Only thing I would change is the special thanks font in upper right. The clear font with black outline doesn't blend with the map.

I mean seriously - the mountains look bad. What's the first thing someone will notice when they look at this map - floating mountains. Yours with the black border around them look better.

You do what you want. Personally, I think a good shadow on a 3-dimensional mountain looks best. And what could be more constructive than an actual screen shot example. All of us have different opinions and as long as this map is in development, people would pop in from time to time and give you ...

I like this style, sort of bit-mappy, and unique. The only thing I would work on is your legend map. It doesn't fit it in with the large map style. But nice work on this.

Re: FRANCE 2.1 - Version 10.2 [17 December 2012] pg 18/18

To keep the mountains from looking like clipart, try adding a shadow to the land. There's already a light direction on the mountains themselves, just add some dark areas to the ground beside them - see graphic. Also - nice map
