What I think might help in an escalating spoils game is to have a "Next incriment" number. Yes, you could scroll through the log to find out who cashed in the last set of spoils and for how many troops.
However, I feel that this would be nice for those who don't want to - or more then likely, don't ...

Re: premium and freemium
a member might buy the annual membership, find out how lousy it is, and deadbeat. Now, you might say "Hey, cc just made a nice profit off that deadbeat.", but how would players in a game with that deadbeat when he left feel about that?

Re: premium and freemium
just pay $25 and play as many as you want.
Problem for some is that you also have to figure in the exchange rate - for Canadians at the moment that is $32.21, from the online currency calculator I just checked - and the cost of the cheque or money order used to pay for the membership. (Not ...

Re: 'all new' intensity cubes complaints (merged)
Why has this thread not been locked? This is just a place for people to complain...
I have a feeling that if it were locked, then some people might get the wrong impression, and say to themselves, "Aha, the devs and mods don't want us talking about it because it is true, the dice are rigged!"

Nikola, the exact same thing happened to me within just the past week. Thank you for offering pictoral proof of this.
Oh, and someone here suggested that we visit Random.org to see things for ourselves. Well, I did, and rolled 3d6 seven times just for fun. On five of the six rerolls (rolls #2 ...

Re: 'all new' intensity cubes complaints (merged)
Actually, I'm starting to believe that it is the dice.
I just started up another game, making my first attack 8v3. I won, but only on the final die roll. This had the defender winning on just one die 4 times in a row, including when I rolled 3 6's - a 1-in-216 chance.

It is a mere coincidence Barum is .......the highest rank in the game, while I am a private, the other a cook, ...?
I am starting to think it is not.
You are quite correct, it is neither coincidence nor surprising to see that Barum is a higher ranked player then you.
But it has little to do ...

Re: 'all new' intensity cubes complaints (merged)
Okay, for everyone who is dragging out statistics to try and prove their side of the argument, when was the last time you rolled a die 5 times did it roll a '6' all 5 times? This happened at one point as I was winding up one of my games last night. (BTW, statisticly speaking, rolling those 5 6's is ...

Re: Suggestion, clarify game rules.
Thanks guys. I'm glad that I've started up a decent discussion. (I've had too many times where I've gotten a lot of flak tosssed my way when I've suggested something along these lines. Not saying that that was going to happen here, but I was a bit worried that it might.)

Re: Suggestion, clarify game rules.
What did you expect would happen when you killed someone who wasn't your target?
Like in a game of Killer (look it up on Google, 'Killer+liveaction') if you eliminate a player who wasn't your target, then his target would go to the player targeting him.
Example:

Suggestion, clarify game rules.
Specificly, the rules about play types. It's more about the layout of the paragraphs.
I just killed off an assassination game by accident when I finished off another player. I then went back and reread the rules for that style of game - and a bit hard to find. Because the second part of the winning ...

Re: For anybody afraid to try certain maps, for the 1st time.
I've played Supermax - somehow got onto an 8-player, assassin game for my very first game as a n00b, when I shouldn't have been able to - and found it quite interesting to play. However, as a logn-time player of RPGs and board games (Supremacy, Eurorails, Dungeon, etc.) I took time when it wasn't my ...
